The house is in easy walking distance to the Covered Bridge, Jackson waterfalls, shops and wonderful restaurants.

Jackson is in the heart of ski country for both down hill and cross-country skiing. The world class Jackson Ski Touring Foundation and trail system is conveniently located in the village and offers snowshoe and ski rental equipment, lessons, tickets and access to 148.2 kilometers of trails. Nearby down hill ski areas include Wildcat, Attitash, Black and Cranmore. The town maintains an outdoor ice skating rink.

In warmer months fly-fishing on the Ellis River directly from the property is permitted with a NH fishing license. Wentworth Golf Club is a beautiful 18 hole course right in the center of the village. Families may want to spend a special day at Storyland that is only a 5 minute drive from the house. Canoeing, kayaking and swimming in the nearby Saco and Androscoggin Rivers is a great way to spend a hot summer day. The White Mountains of New Hampshire is a hiker's and biker's paradise. The Presidential Range offers miles of trails, mountain tops and scenic splendor. Whatever the season, there is always a good reason to come and enjoy a memorable visit to a lovely, relaxing vacation home on the Ellis River in Jackson Village.
